AI Vision Assistant is a standalone Windows application — a single AIAssistantTool.exe with no add-on installation needed — that helps visually impaired users work with screens that ordinary screen readers cannot read. Many applications have buttons, links, and icons that are unlabeled or hidden from accessibility APIs. AI Vision Assistant takes a snapshot of your screen, uses an AI vision-language model to visually detect every interactive element such as buttons, text boxes, checkboxes, links, and icons, and presents them in an accessible overlay that works hand-in-hand with the NVDA screen reader. You simply arrow through the detected elements, press Enter, and the tool clicks the real control on screen for you.
Because it reads the visual screen instead of relying on accessibility metadata, it works even on applications, remote desktops, and custom interfaces that expose no accessibility information at all. It runs quietly in the system tray from the moment you launch the exe, and every feature is available from the keyboard. Coordinate transformation keeps element positions accurate across different resolutions and display scaling, saved scans let you reload a screen instantly without re-running the AI, and it can even describe image CAPTCHAs so you can complete them independently.
